Scott's interest in creative writing began when he was an Education major at Florida International University. After graduating in 1992, he put aside his literary ambition for several years. In June 1998 he wrote his first short story, "The Big Trip" and submitted it to Eclipse Magazine. It was published in two parts in the August and September issues. Scott then began work on "A Portrait Of Sarah," completed in October 1999. Since then he has written over a dozen more short stories and a few screenplays. He is currently working on his second novel, Carriers Of The Apocalypse. Scott is a resident of Sarasota, Florida, where he lives with his significant other, a house plant.
